Happy New Year Everyone!
How has your day been so far? Mine has been fun! My husband woke me up and took me to the place where he proposed to me! It will be 20 years this month since I said “YES”! I am so grateful that I was lucky enough to end up with someone who can put up with me…. for 20 years! LOL! I often ask him why he married me when I was so difficult and moody in the beginning. He tells me that he knew I was a work in progress. Isn’t that so sweet? I can tell you what! I have changed for the better over the past 20 years. My kids have helped me learn patience, love, and understanding. 🙂
Happy New Years Eve Everyone!
I hope you have had a great week so far!  Mine has flown by and gone super slow at the same time.  Kind of crazy with all of the kids home and trying to keep them busy, helping, and happy.  🙂
Happy Monday Everyone!
How was your Christmas? Ours was wonderful! Very low key this year but that is the way our family likes it. I was actually calm and not totally stressed out like in years past. For my children’s present from us, I made them all Minky blankets. These took a little time as the minky material is not easy to sew. Good thing it is just straight lines! We also had a white Christmas! It started snowing on Christmas Eve and we woke up to a blanket of snow. So perfect for the occasion!
Merry Christmas Eve Eve Everyone!
I hope your week has been FABULOUS so far! I am so happy that I am now officially back to feeling normal and just in time for Christmas! Do you all have your presents wrapped and traditions started? I am about 87% done. I still have two more projects to finish and some presents to wrap but am mostly finished. We just need to decorate some sugar cookies, make pizza tomorrow, act out the nativity and make gingerbread houses! Not too shabby!
Last night we surprised my mom (who is single and living alone) by caroling at her door and bringing her over some Christmas Cheer. She didn’t even put up a Christmas tree this year so we brought her one! I also made her the most fluffiest, softest, and cutest minky blanket. It was tempting not to keep it myself!

Happy Monday Everyone!
Well, it’s been a FULL 7 days and I am FINALLY feeling better this morning. That bout with food poisoning made me feel yucky all week. I was able to function but still felt out of it. Crossing my fingers that today will be the day that I don’t feel nauseous all day long!
This weekend we had ANOTHER birthday! I have 2 little boys who were born in December. This little guy even came home in a stocking on the Eve of Christmas Eve.
