Happy Monday Friends!

I’m taking a little break from all of my social platforms so thought I would use my handy dandy blog to give you all an update and to share some pics with you!

Some of you may not have seen my announcement in January but I have decided to step down from my business and retire.  It’s been such a great decision for me.  I feel so much lighter and stress free.  I enjoyed working with all of my amazing customers (YOU) and team members so much but felt it was time to focus more on my family & life here in Utah.

My little Lou Lou is getting so big!  I only get to see her about once a month since my daughter lives about an hour and a half away.  They came down last weekend and we had a fun slumber party.  I just love my grand baby so much!
My oldest son also had a birthday last weekend and is now 21 years old!  I remember when this cutie was born!

I started my blog when he was just 5 years old!  So crazy how fast time flies by.  He has been married to his beautiful wife for almost a year.

Tennis season has started for my boys and I’m happy to announce that they BOTH made the high school team again!  It can get pretty competitive so I am thrilled that they get to share this experience again this year.

Thomas has decided that he wants to play 1st doubles his senior year with Harrison.  They are the number 1 & 2 spots on the team and both played singles last year.  They wanted to make it a fun last year.

I’ve been busy with housework, sewing, going to the boys tennis matches, and church activities.  I am trying to make a conscious effort to make more friends in my neighborhood.  We have lived here almost 9 years and I barely know anyone around here as well as I should.  It’s been nice getting to know so many amazing women little by little.

I’m also trying to start reading again!! Now that I am not on my social media sites as much I have A LOT of time to do other things.  It’s amazing to me how much time I have wasted over the years scrolling & scrolling.  Living other peoples’ lives when I should be living my own.  It’s easy to get sucked into the comparison game that way, too.

Bryan and I are trying to spend more time together as well with weekly date nights and just more time hanging out.  We went on a walk yesterday for the first time this year.  It wasn’t cold yesterday but snowed today!!

Have I mentioned the elk yet???  We have 2 large herds who have decided to make our little city their home this winter.  It’s been so amazing to see them almost every day out in some of the fields.  There are a little over 150 elk in both herds combined.  The smaller herd visits our house about once a week.  Check out this image I caught on our security cameras!

I have been using my new machine embroidery machine A LOT and making some really cool things!!  It goes right along with my quilting hobby.  It’s nice to create just to create and not have to worry about running a business! I purchased a Babylock Meridian machine and it’s the BEST!
I’m still quilting a lot, too, and I’ve started making these super cute purse/bags for some of my family.
Here are some quilts I’ve been working on.  I love being a part of the local quilting community here.  I’m making a lot of new friends!
I will check back here often and try to be a better blogger like I used to be.  Here is another picture of my little Lou Lou!Big hugs,
Robyn

Spread the love
