Marvelous Monday Giveaway & Winner!

Happy Monday Everyone!


Are you ready for your weekend to be over yet?  I actually love Mondays.  It is a chance for me to get caught up from the mess over the weekend.  I also love it because I get to work in my office for most of the day!  I love working from home and being my own boss.  It rocks!!  


I also received a new church calling yesterday and was released from my calling as Young Women President.  In our church (the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints or Mormon Church), we get asked to volunteer our time in specific assignments.  We do not get to choose what we would like to do.  For the past 14 months I was “called” to be the President over the Young Women’s Organization.  It was a wonderful calling that demanded much of my time, which I didn’t mind at all. The Lord has different things in mind for me now but I will miss those sweet Young Women!  So happy that they all live within two blocks of my house!  I still plan on visiting them regularly.  🙂

Friday night my husband and I went to a BYU game.  We had GREAT tickets and BYU ended up having an awesome turn around and coming back in the 4th quarter.  It was super fun!!  Plus, it was fun watching our friend, Austin Brasher, from Oklahoma, do all the kicking for the team!  Go AUSTIN!!!

Happy Friday Everyone!


I totally forgot that my kids would be home today & yesterday!  Makes it a bit harder to get to all of my projects in My Pink Loft.  We are having a blast though.  We took them to see Pan last night.  I highly recommend this movie!  It was so well made and the little boy who plays Peter is amazing!  It’s a must see for all, not just a little kid movie.


Tonight my husband and I are going to the BYU game in Provo.  One of my friends from church gave me their tickets (and I hear they are great seats!)  Happy to have a date night with the hubby!


Here is a quick and easy project that you all can make for Halloween.  I have shared it years ago and thought it was time for a current take on it.  Enjoy!
