I hope you all had a GREAT weekend!!  I’m spending the day getting my kids ready for school that starts tomorrow so I won’t be in my office much.  Tonight I have to make first day of school goodie bags, which should be fun!

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today starts the one week countdown until my children go back to school.  I am sure I will be in and out of my office all week!  I still have school shopping to do for a couple of kids.  🙂  This past weekend has been super busy!  We had a church campout on Friday night and I was able to work for just a bit on Saturday.

My 11 year old helped me organize 2 large bags of Skittles over the weekend.  I will be using the separate colors in an upcoming video tutorial.  It was hard not to snack on those yummy treats, too!

I am so happy I went on our church overnight campout!  I was able to make a few new friends (which are much needed)!  I absolutely HATE camping but it was so worth it!

Flourishing Phrases Simple Card Video Tutorial – Episode 505

Happy Thursday Everyone!

Guess what?  I actually have my first video tutorial for you in over 2 weeks!  It was so nice to be back to filming regular videos again in My Pink Loft.  It’s been a crazy 3 weeks but hopefully things are getting back to normal.  My kids start school in a week and a half (YAAAAA!!!) so I will be able to work more in my office during the day.  🙂

I hope you enjoy this video.  I just finished filming my online class video for Flourishing Phrases and had so much fun with my class that I wanted to do a bonus video for all my class members and my viewers.  What a GREAT set to work with!

Last Wednesday through Saturday we had a Cardon Family Reunion up in the mountains of Southern Utah.  It was GORGEOUS and we had a BLAST!  I think I needed a break from my house and to be with family.  Here are some of our fun pictures.  The Cardons are something else!  Cheesy, funny, and absolutely the BEST!  We celebrated my father in law’s 80th birthday!  My inlaws have 11 children, 11 children in law, 69 grandchildren, and I believe they have 16-20 great grandchildren already!!  WOW!!!  There are a total of 13 of us on my side of the family including grandkids!  
(All 11 of my inlaw’s children were there.  They played Family Fued answering questions about their father.)

Yesterday, my good friend, Laura, passed away after dealing with colon cancer for almost 3 years.  She will be greatly missed.  The past 3 weeks have been super sad for a lot of us.  I am so grateful that she was in my life.  Because of her I am a better person today.  Love you my sweet Laura……  until we meet again.
