Happy Monday Everyone!

Oh my goodness!  I can’t believe I got so far behind on my blog posts again!  I have been trying to post every day this month but life has gotten in the way.  We leave Wednesday morning for our family trip to Disneyland so I am trying to get all of my customer thank you cards & packages shipped out along with all of my class packages & videos.  Lots to do but I am almost done!  Yay!!  I should be able to spend most of tomorrow packing and getting my family ready.  I think I get more done when we are super busy.  Not a lot of time to really think of how much there is to do….  I just get it done…. somehow!    I also had a farewell dinner for my daughter Katelyn on Sunday where we invited our family & some of her friends and had an Aloha theme!

Tonight for our Family Home Evening or Family Night, we took the kids to the Red Barn which is a pumpkin patch, etc.  Our 18 year old daughter didn’t go with us because she had plans with the youth group.  We accidentally took the keys to all 3 cars with us and we were over 20 minutes away so she missed going with her group and with us!  I felt so bad that I took her to a movie when I got home and we just got home a few minutes ago.  It was nice to spend quality time with her before she leaves for college. Today I had the opportunity to teach the women or “Relief Society” in our church.  My lesson was on Preserving & Protecting our Families.   As I ponder and look back at the last 10 years of blogging and my life, the one thing that has been constant is my family and my love for them.  We’ve had hard times, have gone through tough trials (including losing a baby), but I wouldn’t trade them for anything!  They are mine forever!

Today I worked a little in the morning and then spent almost the entire day with my 18 year old, Katelyn, who will be leaving for BYU Hawaii at the end of the month.  Of course I am personally taking her there myself.  I have to make sure she doesn’t get lost, right?  😉  We went shopping for luggage, pants, shirts, perfume, and jewelry!  How is it possible that I came home with more clothes than she did??!  LOL!!
