Today I had the opportunity to teach the women or “Relief Society” in our church.  My lesson was on Preserving & Protecting our Families.   As I ponder and look back at the last 10 years of blogging and my life, the one thing that has been constant is my family and my love for them.  We’ve had hard times, have gone through tough trials (including losing a baby), but I wouldn’t trade them for anything!  They are mine forever!

We are getting family portraits taken this Saturday before my daughter leaves for college.  We haven’t had professional pictures taken in over 4 years!  It’s about time!!  I can’t wait to share the new ones with you.  Here is crossing my fingers to a successful photo shoot.  You never know how it’s going to turn out with 5 kids!  LOL!!

    It's so much fun to do family portraits, as long as no one is tired, grumpy, or hungry!! If all that is taken care of you will have a fantastic shoot!     I think it's great sneaking in so much fun stuff before your dtr leaves, wish we did more with my son, but now we get to with a grandson, so I guess times are a changing as they say. He left for the Navy a Boy, Now 6 years later he is more than I ever could have imagined!
