Oh my goodness! Can you believe it’s STILL snowing here in Utah! We woke up to a lot of snow and it continued to snow throughout the day. Isn’t it Spring already? 
I decided to play Christmas music so I wouldn’t feel down with the gloomy weather. It actually helped! The sun popped out a few times while it snowed. I was looking for a snow rainbow but didn’t see one. I did get a peek at our elkie friends, who I haven’t seen in quite a few days. They will probably visit my house tonight. They usually do when we get fresh snow.
I’m really enjoying blogging again. It’s funny but now that I’ve taken the pressure off from running my own business I am back to the joy of sharing to share. That is why I started blogging in the first place!
Yesterday I finished making a new pillow on my Babylock Meridian embroidery machine. It turned out SOOOOO adorable! The pattern file & kit is from Kimberbell. 
I’ve been making and sending out some quilts this week, too. This one is for our newest Cardon great niece. I love how it turned out!! I think I shared a little bit about this the other day, too. It’s packaged up and on its way to their family!
I also finished this Jelly Roll Race quilt for one of my niece’s who has been going through some health challenges lately. I think it turned out so sweet.
I’ve also given away two of the Mini Poppins purses that I’ve made to a couple of friends. I won’t be selling these at any point but I really enjoy making them. They are great gifts and everyone really seems to like them. This one went to a friend in the neighborhood and I sent the Minnie & Mickey Mouse one to someone in the mail.
The boys tennis match was cancelled yesterday due to the rain we had before the snow. It’s supposed to rain and snow for the next 7 days. Yay! NOT!
I also started another Spring table runner for our formal dining room. I should be finished with it by tomorrow. I wanted to use the pattern for the blocks in a quilt I made recently called the Swoon 16.

In addition to the Mary Conneally books, my other favorite Christian author is Dee Henderson, but hers aren’t really light and fluffy, they are more focused on mystery/family dynamics. I love her O’Malley series!
Sorry, I don’t have time to read, so I don’t have any book suggestions, but I am curious about where you got the pattern for the Poppins purse? I hadn’t seen that mentioned.

It is good to see you blogging again…….I have bought the pattern for the mini Poppins bags and will attempt to learn how to make it on my own….it it very cute
