On a personal note…

The boys are on Spring Break this week which means ….. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!  LOL!!  We are doing the same thing as the last three weeks.  The two older boys are sleeping in and staying up late playing video games and Brayden and I have been hanging out a bit while he is catching up from missed assignments from last week.  Schooling at home is hard for some kids while some love it!  Thomas is 15 and said he would be able to graduate from HS in less than a year if he did all his schooling at home.  lol!!  It would be an additional 10 years for my 13 year old because he learns better in a classroom environment.  We are all just doing the best we can and trying to make it a fun experience.

The weather has turned to PERFECT here in Utah, which means my daily walks are back to almost normal!  Last night Bryan and I walked 3 miles in our circle. Which means we did 6 laps.  We only saw two people while we were out and we all kept our distance.

I also made a batch of bread last night.  I can no longer eat 4 slices of my homemade WHEAT bread in one day.  I learned the hard way.  lol!!  I need to start off with one slice and then slowly build up.  My stomach cannot handle whole wheat right now.  Probably shows you how much processed white bread I have had in my life.  :). My recipe does have 1/2 white flour and 1/2 wheat flour but still a little too much wheat for right now.

I’ll see you all tomorrow for a NEW video tutorial with a fun technique!!

Hugs,
Robyn

Spread the love

That bread looks delicious! Nothing better than warm homemade bread! My mom used to make 10 loaves a week when I was young — she had 7 kids! I love the Above The Clouds set! I can see where I could make simple quick cards — my favorite way to make cards!

In times like these, which we have never seen before, we need to keep something familiar to us. Such inspiration we get from you…we should bake bread!

I love hot air balloons. I haven’t been able to find flour or yeast here but I’m not going store to store looking. I’m high risk so staying home stamping and sewing.
