Happy day 3!
Thought I would start with a blast from the past with a post from my first month of blogging 12 years ago…
From my blog on October 21, 2006
“I am grateful to have started this blog. I’m excited to post regularly and also upload some of my card/scrapbook creations. I made a card for my Aunt Nikki today and a couple other girls I know going through chemo due to breast cancer. It turned out really cute. I also finished all my Christmas cards last night. I made 48 but I only think I will need about 35 of them. I just need to do my birth announcements and a few other projects before baby gets here. I’m getting kind of overwhelmed thinking of all I need to do before he comes to our family. I still need to get the “baby” stuff ready. I don’t even know which bins they are in. With my last baby I was prepared 3 months in advance. I need to get on the ball.”
Wow!! I have been through so much in the past 12 years. It just seems like a distant memory but I can remember some of what I was feeling. Pretty soon my own children will be having children of their own and going through their own life experiences.
Today I am going to spotlight Farmhouse Christmas stamp set & suite. It is one of my most favorite bundles in the new Holiday Catalog.

Yesterday was a big day in our family. I took my oldest daughter, Katelyn, shopping to find her wedding dress. We found one that is going to be custom made to fit her style. It will be ready the first week of December which will be just in time. Cannot believe that she is getting married on December 29th this year!!

You have been truly blessed over the last twelve years! Congratulations on your daughter’s upcoming wedding. My Katelyn and her husband will be celebrating four years of wedded bliss love in November. I think it’s cool we have daughters with the same name, even spelled the same.
That is so great!
Last year was rough with 3 of our 5 children going through huge trials. It’s nice to see the light at the end of the tunnel. So grateful for my kids and how they grow up into wonderful human beings.
Congratulations! Weddings are wonderful ways to share time with your daughter. I wish you all the very best!
Just think…in 12 more years you will be able to look back on this post as well. Think of how much will have transpired between now and then. So happy for Katelyn! Enjoy the process…the wedding will be here all too soon! I love the sample projects you have shown! Are you doing a class with this one?
I am going to try to design this class next and post it tomorrow. We will see how motivated I am. lol!
