Hello Everyone!
Sorry I’ve been missing in action for the past week. I celebrated my 45th birthday on Wednesday so took a couple of days off for that and then 2 of my children came down with the flu. Not fun at all!
Everyone seems to be well today and I’m back in My Pink Loft! Yay!!

I had a WONDERFUL birthday this year. All of my kids remembered and it was so special. Andrew made a new fun, rap for my Youtube intro. It’s really hilarious! I posted it on my Instagram @robynstamps if you haven’t heard it yet. Madie gave me some really thoughtful gifts including a new book, a wall hanging and lots of candy. Katelyn gave me a beautiful gold winter jacket that I had been eyeing. The two little boys gave me some yummy treats with my breakfast in bed.
Bryan had a new recliner, rocking chair delivered so I could knit in the living room with our family & be comfortable. Such a thoughtful gift.

I love that knitting is something that I can do when I am away from My Pink Loft and still feel creative. I can also knit while in the passenger seat, while traveling, and in the living room with my family while we watch TV.
I just finished my first shawl while I was up until after 2 am with a sick child. I love how it turned out!

We are snow birding for the 1st time from Montana to So. California in our 5th wheel and I miss my card making “stuff.” I brought quilting stuff and genealogy stuff so keep busy. It’s taking forever. Donated sic boxes full of stuff to a after school program in my grandson school district. They were so appreciative of it all. Now to fine tone my room and get started. I used to knit scarves several years ago but don’t know if I would remember how to do it now. I wanted to learn to knit throws but I never could find anyone around here to show me how and I could not learn from you tube videos…I’m a hands on learner. I really enjoyed knitting the scarves when I was making them but one could only make so many scarves, right??? I’m so glad you had a good birthday but I had your boys had the flu. Also glad the rest of your family didn’t get sick!!
