Happy Sunday!I’m a little behind with #acardadayinmay2017 so I will post another 2 for today and hopefully be back on track tomorrow.
We flew all night and got into Utah at around 7 am this morning, then went to church at 11, then came home and took a nice nap. Tomorrow I will get up early and get back on track in my pink loft. So much to share with you all!!!

Here are some highlights from my trip to Hawaii! Had a blast but oh, so good to be home!!
Gotta love the beautiful art that can be found on the North Shore of Oahu. It was great spending time with my oldest daughter, Katelyn, for 2 Saturdays before and after the cruise.
Did you know that there are A GAZILLION wild chickens on all the islands but especially on Kaui. They have the most because they did not introduce the mongoose like the other islands. We literally counted almost 100 on the sides of the road on our way to the beach! Of course I had to get a hat with a chicken so I would never forget!
Spending time with family was one of the main highlights to our trip. We traveled with 8 of my husbands siblings with their spouses along with his mom & dad who were celebrating their 80th birthdays.
On the island of Kona we rented electric bikes and rode up to see one of our church’s many temples that spot the world. This is one of over 100 LDS temples in the world. So amazing to get to see these in person.
On the island of Kaui we had to get some of their yummy shaved ice. This was not your ordinary shaved ice. It had a scoop of Macadamia Nut ice cream on the bottom and was topped with coconut cream on the top!! Soooo delicious!! We also rented a convertible for the day and rode with the top down but I totally forgot to get a pic of us in it!
On the island of Maui we traveled on the Hoppa On, Hoppa Off bus and visited the black sand beach, volcano, macadamia nut factory and a few other fun stops. It’s amazing how each island is different.
We loved all the food and amazing restaurants on the Pride of America NCL that we were on. This is me asking for MORE grilled pineapple! They brought it to our table about 4 times!!
