As some of you may know, we ended up losing our dear Muffin last Monday after I posted. He didn’t recover from the surgery. We think that he may have been either kicked by a horse or was hit by a car. He had internal bleeding that the vet didn’t catch it when he went in for surgery. So… it’s been a sad week but also a week of remembering great memories of our faithful puppy of 10 years. I honestly didn’t think I would be so sad but I’ve cried many tears.

That is so sad to hear about Muffin. I read about his surgery and thought that he would be up and running around in no time. Losing a pet is always hard and every one of them holds a special place in your heart. What a week that must have been for you, filled with happy and sad at the sametime.

Oh no, this is such sad news. When I read about his surgery in the previous post I was glad to hear that he only lost an eye and thought he would be fine. How devastating for your family. Our pets are so special and losing one never gets any easier. I had wondered how you knew he had been attacked by a cat, but now it sounds like it was even worse. Hugs to you.
I’m so sorry about Muffin. I lost my 15 year old cat, Princess, suddenly in May. They are family. I am so excited about the retreat in a box! This is going to be so much fun!
What a bonanza of giveaways…Thanks for being so generous! It was so sad what happened to Muffin, but I hope the memories are comforting you. The retreat on a box sounds wonderful, but I just lost my job & I shouldn’t splurge on stamps kits since I have so many to catch up on! Luckily I have the time now.

I’m so sorry about Muffin. We love our pets as family. I’ve loved and lost a few pets in my life and it’s not easy. My sweet Mollie will tear me apart. She is the dog/puppy we received after I finished chemo seven years ago.
