Week 4 – A September to Remember & My Pink Candy Giveaway & Winner!

Happy Monday!

Guess what??!!  It’s not smoky today!  Yay!!!  They have had great progress on the fires and now there is only one small housing community left under evacuation.  Everyone else has gone back home over the weekend and we are not at risk.  Isn’t that GREAT news??  Last week was a blur.  It’s so weird how your mind and body react when there is a possible threat of having to leave everything.

  4. Buffy Scott says

So glad everything has gotten better! I know the feeling because I live in NC & the fear of the floods from the hurricane Florence was terrible!! We have friends that have been devastated from this hurricane but luckily we have gotten by with a little water damage in our home, unfortunately ?. The weather devastation has been awful this past year. I pray things can only get better.

I love today’s pink candy!! I’ve seen some great ideas with this box ?

  5. Cynthia Mayfield says

  6. Marilyn says

Glad to hear you all are safe. I know how you feel. The same when we have to leave because of a hurricane and not knowing what you have to come back too when it is over.

  7. Cam Reisnour says

Continued prayers for the fire fighters !!

i am glad you and your family are safe! I have been on the fence about this thinlet set. I might just have to get it if I dont win! 😉

So glad the fires are being contained and the air has cleared. I know how stressful it can be not knowing whether you will have to leave or not.

  11. Mary Maneikis says

Cute giveaway! So glad to hear that you’re all safe and sound. I don’t know what I’d do if I had to evacuate in a hurry!

  12. Sherry Woodard says

And it rained for maybe 10 minutes last night at my house! The air smelled so fresh! Finally! I’m so glad your home is still standing! Those firefighters are amazing! All that fire and not a home lost! My greatest fear is a fire reaching my scrapbook room! ???. The whole block would light up like s Roman candle!

  13. Jane says

glad to hear you are okay. This is the first summer/fall in several years that we have not had to be prepared to evacuate. It is a great feeling. This thinlits set looks fun. Do you have a video on how to assemble it?

  14. Joyce McIntosh says

So glad the threat of fire is over for you. Hopefully now that fall is here the fire danger will be less. This year has been so bad, can’t wait for rain.

  15. Denise Bryant says

Glad the fire is under control. It is very scary to have to leave your home. I had an evacuation pending at one point last year. Didn’t have to evacuate, but I had a couple of bags packed just in case. After it was over, I realized how many things I was forgetting to pack that would have been so difficult to lose. I think it’s a great idea to make a list and keep it, so if the situation ever comes up you’d have a plan! Of course, people and pets are what’s most important!

  16. Ann says

Yay! Glad they’re getting the fire under control & everyone can go back. I was hoping my little brother wouldn’t get sent back to UT to fight more fires too!

This is a fun giveaways. Thanks for being generous & sharing!
