On a personal note…..
Just wanted to share a sweet moment between me and my 13 year old, Thomas. I was tucking the boys in bed and he wanted to tell me a funny story about his tennis practice today. It wasn’t really about the story but it was so fun to be able to have this kind of relationship with him. He even let me capture the moment on camera!

On a personal note….
My oldest daughter, Katelyn, finished her CNA program yesterday so we all went out to get dessert at Olive Garden. I love to see my children happy and she was glowing all night!
I wanted to share the progress of my first St. Patty’s Day sock that I started on Saturday. I am just about finished with it and will start the 2nd one tomorrow. Katelyn has decided that she wants this pair since I messed up on the other set I was making for her.

Yesterday was such a fun, lazy, family day!
I worked on my St. Patty’s day sock(s) all day after church! I am almost to the heel on the first one and should finish it up tomorrow night. Thomas has asked that this set can be his. He is going to love them!

On a personal note…
It’s been a great Saturday. I was able to sleep in until 11:00 am!!! That’s right folks! You heard that right! The mom who usually stays up until midnight with her teens and then has to wake up each morning at 6:30 am actually slept in for once!! Woooo hooo!!! Felt soooo right!!
I then spend a little time in My Pink Loft crafting, then knitting, and then out to a late lunch/ early dinner with Bryan and my in laws to celebrate his sister’s birthday.
Great day!

Click to CommentI am super happy the weekend is here. My kids all surprised me with a day off yesterday, due to a teacher in service day, so it actually felt like it was Saturday all day! lol!
Plans for today include, stamping, knitting, and a family lunch/ dinner at Olive Garden with my in laws. Super excited!

Since my kids had the day off I was able to sleep in… which was GLORIOUS!!
Tonight I just wanted a few minutes to myself so I hid behind our couch.
Then they found me!!
